About

Statement

I get inspired from things I see or I think I do... The strongest subject survives hesitations and continues through my improvisation. In my paintings I focus on a way an object moves within its lifetime. I love painting nature, especially trees with their dramatic hands-like branches. Scenes in nature often remind me human life episodes. Life that has its beginning and I believe never ends, only transforms in a new form and dimension.

Bio

I learned to draw in a number of schools and courses with realism techniques of Russian classical realism style. Then, at the age of sixteen I left my home and family in Estonia for Israel to finish secondary school where my teachers in art class were doing their best trying to break my strict realism in my art works and finally they succeeded. And I have to say there is nothing bad about that. Most important for me is to express an idea or thought through a brush to a canvas, so the painting will "talk" to an observer.

Today I participate in international projects when organizations use art to make their communities follow the main human values in their daily activities. We believe that art comes to help people understand deeply the result of every step and thought of theirs.
